Kath's disability sometimes makes her very weak. Performing even simple tasks like climbing stairs can be very difficult. George will position himself where she needs support on the command "steady", and make himself rigid so Kath can lean on him for support.
George senses when Kath's circulation is bad and will lay on the cold limbs to warm them without command.
When Kath needs to get out of bed in the morning, George will position himself so she can use his support to help sit up.
